ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Charlene!
I’m a children’s book illustrator and author, born in Brazil but living in Berlin, Germany.
During my childhood and adolescence, I grew up surrounded by nature, which shaped me into who I am today. I enjoy drawing animals, nature, anthropomorphic characters, and fantasy stories.
Seeking representation
I am seeking representation from literary or illustration agents, including those who work with author-illustrators. I write and illustrate fictional stories for picture books featuring anthropomorphic animals, humans, and fantastical beings. My work is aimed at children and focuses on emotions and everyday situations, often with warmth and sensitivity, but I also enjoy creating playful, silly stories.
